Cluster Inventory

The Cluster Inventory allows users to obtain the deployment configuration of cert-orchestrator for the targeted cluster. After executing this configuration on the targeted cluster, the cluster is added to the inventory, enabling cluster management from within the inventory.

The Cluster Inventory list displays the clusters where the cert-orchestrator is installed. On the Cluster Inventory page, you can:
  • refresh the list, click the (refresh) icon.

  • go to the pages, click the (navigation) icon.

  • discover the cluster objects for the selected clusters and extracts the certificates, click the (config fetch) icon. Config fetch can be triggerd in 15 minutes interval.
The cluster inventory list includes the following information:

Column Name Description
Cluster Name Name of the Kubernetes cluster and metadata about the cluster retrieved on clicking the name of the cluster. The cluster name contains the vendor name, cluster name, account ID and region for the unique identity.
Vendor The Kubernetes Cluster Provider.
Onboarding Type Kubernetes clusters can be managed in two ways:
  • Agent-based: This involves deploying an agent on the cluster.

  • Agentless: This method does not require any agents and the feature will be available soon.

No. of Nodes Count of nodes in the cluster.
State State of the Cluster for CLM operations. Possible Options: Managed (CLM operations can be performed) and Unmanaged (CLM operations cannot be performed).
Status Health of the cert-orchestrator in the cluster. An event can be configured to send a notification when the cluster status changes to unhealthy. To configure an event, see Configuring Notification Event.
Last Updated Time Timestamp of the most recent health check update.
Created By The user who generated the deployment configuration.
Actions Actions icon allows updating the deployment configuration for the Cluster.
