RSeries Device Restore

This workflow allows to restore RSeries device.

To run this workflow:
  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > AUTOMATION > Workflow Catalog > View/Run
  2. Hover the mouse over the RSeries Device Restore workflow on the View/Run Workflows page.
  3. Click .
    The Request > RSeries Device Restore :: FormBuilder page is displayed.
  4. In the Device Details table, select or enter the following details:

    Field Description
    *Host Device Name Select a host from the dropdown list.
    *Host Backups Select a host backup from the dropdown list.
    *Do You Want To Restore RSeries Tenants? By default, No is selected. To restore RSeries tenants, click Yes.
    Primary Key Enter the primary key. It must contain minimum six characters. The primary key is the key that is used to authenticate and secure the restoration process of the RSeries device.
    Salt Enter a string of random characters used in combination with the primary key to create a unique hash. It must contain minimum six characters.

  5. Click the Submit button.
    The Confirmation popup opens.
    Note: To cancel this form, click the Cancel button.
  6. Click Ok to submit the form.
    The workflow runs automatically and restore the host succesfully. The restored host will be found in the logs from ADC+ > ALERTS & LOGS > Logs.
    Note: If there is any failure at this stage, start a new request by providing the correct data.
