GitHub - Create New Project

This workflow creates a new project in GitHub Cloud.

To run this workflow:
  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > AUTOMATION > Workflow Catalog > View/Run
  2. Click the GITOps category on the View/Run Workflows page.
  3. On the popup window, hover the mouse over the GitHub - Create New Project workflow.
    The Run and Schedule buttons are displayed.
  4. Click .
    The Request > GitHub - Create New Project :: FormBuilder page is displayed.
  5. Enter/select the field information in the GitHub - Create New Repository section.

    Field Description
    *Enter Repository Name Enter the repository name for the GitHub Project. The project will be created with this name.
    *Enter Description Enter the Description for the GitHub Project.
  6. Enter the field information in the GitHub - Details section.

    Field Description
    *Username Enter the valid username that has privelege to create projects.
    *Password Enter the password or API token.
  7. Click the Next button.
    The Confirmation popup opens.
    Note:
    • If you want to save this form to edit it later, click the Save Draft button, and then click Ok in the Confirmation popup window. The form will be saved as Open request under Request > My Request.
    • If you want to cancel this form, click the Cancel button.
  8. Click Ok to submit the form.
  9. The workflow is completed and the new project is created in the GitHub.
    Note: The stages of the request are shown in the left side of the screen. To view a particular stage of the request, click the respective stage.
