Apache

In order to enable certificate discovery from an Apache server, it is necessary to add the server to the AppViewX inventory by providing the relevant server details.

  1. Click (menu), and from the displayed menu click Inventory > Device.
  2. Click the Server tab and then (add).
  3. On the Device details page, from the Vendors list on the left, click (Apache Linux).
  4. Enter values in the all the mandatory and other relevant fields. The mandatory fields are
    • Server type (Select Apache)
    • Server name
    • IP address
    • SSH Port
    • Credential Type
    • Username
    • Password
  5. Click Add and then the Save button.
