Managed Devices Scan
A managed devices certificate scan is the process of scanning and managing digital certificates that are on the devices under the control of an organization. The purpose is for organizations to ensure the integrity of their security infrastructure and the prevention of security incidents.
AppViewX's managed devices certificate scan feature is built to handle the complete
lifecycle of certificates deployed on managed devices (like ADC load balancers, servers,
firewalls, WAFs, and so on) starting from discovery to renewal, revocation, and removal.
This section outlines the steps for discovering certificates deployed on managed
devices. AppViewX discovers certificates from managed devices and uses the SSL profile
and virtual server to gather and retain details of the discovered certificates.
