Overview

Discovering certificates is a one-time activity and is not required to be initiated for each discovery. For optimizing the use of the data discovered, CERT+ features the capability to create custom filters using its in-built rule engine. For example, you can create a rule that will exclude certificates belonging to a specifc CA present in the infrastructure that is not required to be managed by the production CLM server.

The following would be an advanced use case, which can be implemented using the rule engine: You can map custom logic as a visual workflow template to perform actions on the filtered certificates. AppViewX provides you with templates that you can use to configure custom logic, which will be applied to the certificates.
