Discover/Onboard a WAF Vendor Device

Onboard the supported WAF vendor devices to the AppViewX inventory using the IP Address/FQDN. AppViewX will initiate the communication using the provided credentials and subsequently manage them within the WAF Inventory. This functionality is particularly useful for WAF automation use cases.

The WAF vendor devices can only be managed through Device Inventory, and WAF enablement has been restricted in the Control Center from AppViewX v24.1.0.0 Release.

On-Prem:

• If an ADC+ license is present, parsing of objects will occur.
• If there is no ADC+ license, parsing of objects will be skipped.

SaaS:

• Parsing of objects will be skipped regardless of the license status.
