Enable External Storage for Backup

Prerequisites:
  • Ensure the target server is added and managed under Device Inventory > Others tab.

To enable external server for bakup:

  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > SETTINGS >Module Settings > Device.
  2. Click the Backup tab.
  3. From the Server Name dropdown, select the desired server.
    Note: Only servers listed under the Others inventory are displayed here.
  4. Enter the File Storage Path where the backup should be pushed on the external server.
  5. Click Save.
Once the external backup configuration is enabled, backups will be stored both in AppViewX and on the configured external server.
Note: All backup operations are recorded in the Logs for auditing and tracking purposes.
