Create a Key

You can now generate SSH keys using supported bit lengths and algorithms as defined by policy.

To create a key:

  1. Go to Menu > SSH+ > INVENTORY > Key Inventory > Create Key.
  2. In the User Key > Create Key page, enter or select the following details:

    Key details
    *Key group Select a key group to which the key will belong.
    Key name Enter the name for the key.
    *Algorithm Select a cryptographic algorithm used to generate the key (e.g., RSA, ED25519).
    *Bit length Select the length of the key in bits, defining its strength (e.g., 2048, 4096).
    Comment Add any comments related to the key creation.
    Tags
    Tags Select one or more tags to categorize the key.
  3. Click Create.
