Delta Discovery

Delta Discovery of certificates involves discovering only those certificates that have been pushed to the device, modified, or removed from the inventory since the last config sync. It is available and limited to Fetch Config and Midnight Sync for

  • IBM MQ server (Linux)

  • Generic Linux devices

  • Apache Linux Server

When Fetch Config is carried out for the first time, it will pull all the certificates from the server. However, every Fetch config after that will only pull the delta certificates, that is the certificates added to the device since the last sync. Behavior for on-demand discovery and Config sync after Save/Edit to the device remains the same as before, that is all the certificates will be discovered.
